Gauhati High Court judges contribute to PM CARES and CM’s Relief Fund
Dispur, April 21: Altogether seventeen judges of Gauhati High Court including Chief Justice Ajai Lamba today contributed Rs. 4.51 lakh to PM CARES and Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. Other judges who made the contribution include, NK Singh, Manash Ranjan Pathak, Manojit Bhuyan, Suman Shyam, Rumi Kumari Phukan, Achintya Malla Bujor Barua, Kalyan Rai Surana, Prasanta Kumar Deka, Ajit Borthakur, Hitesh Kumar Sarma, Mir Alfaz Ali, Sanjay Kumar Medhi, Manish Choudhury, Soumitra Saikia, Parthiv Jyoti Saikia and retired justice HN Sarma.
Further, in continuation to the contribution to CMRF by individuals and organizations, APDCL contributed Rs. 55 lakh, Assam Power Grid Limited contributed Rs. 12 lakh and APGCL contributed Rs. 8.38 lakh today.
Moreover, Seven Sisters Trade & Distilleries Private Limited, North East Distilleries Private Limited, Aroma India Private Limited, Saaran Industries, Hiland Infratech, Bharalu View Housing Society, Vandaneeya Laxmibai Kelkar Smarak Samity, RD Educational & Sports Foundation, Dibrugarh District Sports Association, Guwahati Baptist Church and Manorama Bora also contributed to CMRF today.
Apart from this, several individuals and organizations contributed to Assam Arogya Nidhi. This includes Pulin Chandra Gogoi, Bharatiya Cha Parishad, Lakhdatar Seva Samity, Tinsukia English Academy, Industrial Estate Users Association, OP Bansal & Sons, Budding Buds Senior Secondary School and Agarwal Sewa Samity. Pulin Chandra Gogoi also contributed to PM CARES.
